BENEFIT story started in 2013 with a friendship meeting in Bucharest Old Town, with a human belief: benefits for employees are not spreadsheets, they are about how people feel at work.
The solution was created to help companies care for their teams in a simpler, more transparent and flexible way. By moving all benefits into one digital ecosystem, it gave employees real choices and employers real clarity about the efficiency as well as taxation.
As founder, Stelian Bogza shaped the commercial directions around one core principle: listen first. He defined the B2B positioning, built and mentored the sales team, and structured processes that reflected what HR leaders and employees genuinely needed. Partnerships were built on trust, conversations were framed on understanding, and growth was shaped on long-term relationships.




Scaling trust into long-term impact
The people-first strategy accelerated adoption across Romania and positioned the platform as a trusted partner for world brand companies and teams alike. BENEFIT was later acquired and integrated into Edenred, becoming what is now BENEFIT by Edenred. What began as a founder-driven vision to improve everyday work life became part of a global ecosystem, proving that when you build around people, scale becomes a natural consequence.
